Ruby Rose

When she first appeared on the third season of Orange is The New Black (a drama series on women's prison), Ruby Rose immediately blew my mind. She played the character of Stella Carlin, who herself is not as distinctive nor witty as Taystee for instance, but you must admit that she is the hottest inmate at Litchfield.
Ruby is going to appear again on the fourth season, which is set to be aired in May next year and I can't wait to see it!

Born in Melbourne, Ruby Rose started her career in the media as a video-jockey for MTV and a successful model. She even posed for Maxim, she had awful long blond hair, but that's only a plastic men's magazine. she's also the face of Maybelline New York in Australia.
Thanks to her appearance in OINTB, Ruby Rose has become a powerful television personality. Recently, alongside Ed Sheeran, Ruby has hosted MTV Europe Music Awards in Milan.

As for her personal life, Rose, being 29, has already been through several relationships and one broken engagement. In 2014 she got engaged to her fiancée , Phoebe Dahl (she calls her "Pheebs"). Phoebe, 26, is an ethical fashion designer and engages in charity activity quite a lot. the couple claim "it was love at first sight". They both are animal lovers, have two dogs and a cat and use to travel with them whenever they can!

Ruby Rose is also a close friend of Ellen Page.

Ruby makes me want to learn Australian accent now :P

I'm going to start my new blog on famous Women Who Love Women with a post about one of world's best actresses: Ellen Page.

I bet many of you have seen or at least heard of the film Juno, thanks to which Ellen rose to fame, playing the main character Juno, a pregnant teenager. She won 27 different prizes for that role. It was not her first appearance on the big screen, though - she has played in several minor film productions before, with not much success however.
Later on she starred in two cinema blockbusters: Inception and  To Love in Rome. I have seen both and reccommend the latter for a rainy autumn evening.

Let's move on to her private life.
The Canadian actress came out as lesbian last year on Valentine's Day in an emotional speech at the Human Rights Campaign's Time to Thrive conference benefiting LGBT youth. That came as a big surprise to the world, as she had always been very secretive about her personal life. Page has been through two relationships, both of which have suffered because of her need to keep them secret. Now she's open and happily in love with her new girlfiend, Samantha Thomas, an appreciated and prolific artist.
